Daniel P. McLaughlin's purpose is to provide bidders an opportunity to participate in live auctions even when they cannot be physically present at the auction site. Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. webcasts the live auction and allows bidders to place bids in real time. Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. can also place automated bids on behalf of a bidder unable to personally monitor the auction webcast.
Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. collects information from you to create your Bidder Profile. This Bidder Profile allows Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. to verify your identity and contact you regarding your auction activity.

Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. collects contact information to sign you up as a Bidder. That information retained by McLaughlin & Co. when you select to apply for participation in one of their auctions. Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. needs the following information for every Bidder using re-auctions.com:

Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. does not collect any information about individual Bidders other than the information provided directly to us in connection with Bidder Profiles.
We do gather aggregate information about site usage, such as the number of visitors, most visited pages, and length of visit. However, this information does not identify Bidders specifically by IP address, e-mail address or other user identifier. Rather, it tells us how our Bidders as a group are using the site. Thus, aggregate site usage data helps us expand and improve the Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. web site in order to make your experience with Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. the best possible.
We do not sell, trade or rent any of your information. We do not provide any of your information to a third party, unless you expressly give permission to do so. Thus, your personal information is only used to help you participate in live auctions or register for Scheduled Live Auction.

COOKIES
Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co., Inc. only collects information pertaining to session cookies and does not store any persistent cookies on your computer hard drive. A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to your browser-- along with a Web page-- when you access a Web site.

Because a session cookie is never written to a drive, it is destroyed as soon as you close your browser. Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. takes industry standard security measures to protect your information. Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. has contracted with Global Internet Business Solutions to provide security for Daniel P. McLaughlin's physical servers.
We restrict access to your personal identification and contact information within the company to only those authorized employees who need to use that information for a specific job function.
Though Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. takes the multiple electronic and physical security precautions described herein, we cannot be responsible if a third-party gains access to the database or your personal information by evading our security measures.

You can access your Bidder Profile through the login option on the Daniel P. McLaughlin & Co. homepage. If you find an error in your Bidder Profile, please send an e-mail to techsupport@re-auctions.com notifying us of the error. Please include credible evidence of the error and the correct information for your Bidder Profile.
